Frequently asked questions
When does my child get access?
On their 18th birthday, the time capsule automatically unlocks. They'll see a special reveal page and can explore all the memories you've collected.
Who can add content?
Parents (superadmins) can see everything. Participants — like grandparents, siblings, or cousins — can add content but only see what they've added.
What happens to voice messages?
With Basic or Premium, voice messages can be transcribed to text with AI, so your child can both listen to them and read them. The original audio is kept while the nest has a paid plan, and you can download everything at any time.
What if I run out of storage?
The free plan keeps text memories and events. Basic adds photos, videos and voice messages with 5 GB, Premium with 50 GB: enough for thousands of photos and hours of video.
Is my data safe?
All data is stored securely with Supabase (built on PostgreSQL). Files are kept in private cloud storage with signed URLs — only authorized members can access them.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly and yearly plans can be canceled anytime. When a paid plan ends, text memories and events stay; photos, videos and voice messages stay visible for 7 days, are then hidden, and are deleted 90 days after the end unless you start a plan again. You can download everything at any time. Or pay once: the one-time plan covers your nest until your child's 20th birthday, and for at least two years from purchase.
